I dropped my phone and the screen is black but it still works -What do I do?

I dropped my phone and the screen is black
1- your phone if still staring at a blank screen, it’s possible that the cable connecting the logic board to the LCD screen has become disconnected. This can occur if you accidentally drop your phone a few times. In order to regain your screen’s functionality, the cable will need to be plugged back
2- I believe something got disconnected from the logic board but I haven’t opened the phone
Problem: Hi, my S7 fell from my hand, and even though the screen is physically intact and unscratched, it is competently black, therefore, I cannot unlock my phone to extract the data. I’ve bought devices to connect keyboard and mice, they don’t work, they don’t even power the phone up. What are my options? I desperately need to backup pictures. Thanks for your advice.
Solution: It looks like the drop might have damaged some internal component of the phone. Does your phone respond to charging? If it does then you can try connecting the phone to a computer with Smart Switch installed then try to backup your phone data using the software. In case the phone does not respond at all and you want to recover your phone data then you will have to bring this to a service center and have it checked.
Have you tried to restart your iPhone? This is the first and easiest solution that refreshes the device and eliminates any issues. If you have no idea how to restart the iPhone, then follow my steps:
Restart iPhone 7 or earlier:
Step 1: Press and hold the sleep/wake button until you see the slider appear on the screen. Drag the slider to turn off the device.
Step 2: Now, press and hold the sleep/wake button again until the Apple Logo appears on the screen.
Restart iPhone 8 or later:
Press and hold one of the volume buttons and the sleep/wake button at the same time until the Apple Logo appears on the screen.
If still not work, then you can try the following two methods, they are the most useful methods I found.
- Restore iPhone in iTunes
Before you try this way, don’t forget to put the device in DFU mode first, then follow the following steps:
Step 1: Hold down both the power and home button together
Step 2: After exactly 10 seconds, let go of the power button but keep holding the home button for another 10 seconds.
Step 3: Release the home button and the screen should go completely black.
Step 4: Now connect the iPhone to the computer and launch iTunes.
Step 5: When iTunes detects a device in recovery mode, click on “Restore.”
Fix iPhone Screen Goes Black Without Data Loss
If all of the above solutions fail to work, I recommend you try Tenorshare Reiboot. This program is one of the best iOS system recovery programs since it can fix any software related issue on your iPhone without data loss. To use ReiBoot, download and install the program onto your computer and then follow these very simple steps.
Step 1: Launch the program and then connect the iPhone to the computer using USB cables. Once the program recognizes the device, click on “Repair Operating System”
Step 2: Now, click “Start Repair”, it will suggest you download a firmware version that matches your iPhone iOS version. Choose a save path and download the firmware package.
Step 3: Download firmware and the software will begin repairing your iPhone operating system. Within a few minutes, you will get your iPhone in a normal state. credit of site and all rights to www.quora.com
